I consider myself very fortunate to be able to entertain as a professional instrumentalist. With more than thirty years experience in the Folk, Americana, Bluegrass, and Celtic genres, I've performed with over a dozen bands throughout the Southeast.
The instruments I play the most are the
Banjo - Played in both Bluegrass and Clawhammer (Mountain) styles.
Dobro - The acoustic steel guitar, used in Bluegrass, Folk, and Country music.
Bagpipes - The Great Highland Pipes as well as Border Pipes, Small Pipes, and Firesides.
Other instruments include guitar, ukelele, tinwhistle, upright bass, and fiddle.
I'm currently a member of the fantastic - and busy - Marshgrass Bluegrass band, but am available for session work and solo performances as well.
